We are in the process of surviving some bug that has taken over our whole family. I was out of commission for almost a week because of it! The boys seem to be fairing better than I did, but then again, they aren't pregnant. It really seemed like my body said something along the lines of, "Oh, you want to get sick? Sure! Do what you like, we're busy working on something else right now." Anyway, seemed like my immune system just left me to fend for myself. A week and a half later, I'm finally feeling human again. I think the boys are over the fever part of things, although we're all still stuffy and have this nasty sounding cough. Oh well. This too shall pass!
A couple weeks ago, we went bowling to celebrate Timothy's 9th birthday. Goodness, how did he get to be NINE!?!?? The kids had a great time. The bowling alley had this cool metal thing the kids could roll the ball down to "bowl". It made it much more fun for them (especially Micah) because they were able to play the whole game without getting frustrated. It also helped that the gutter guards were up. :) In any case, Josiah bowled a 123 and Micah bowled a 98!! They were even giving the adults a run for their money. :) Bruce was kind enough to remind me that I was suppose to ROLL the ball, not swallow it. Ha-ha.
Here's a couple of pics:

The other recent adventure was when John's mom took Josiah skiing. He was VERY excited in the days leading up to it and had a great time that day. He was so exhausted when he got home that he didn't even eat dinner, and for him, that's REALLY TIRED! He also made a new friend, Hannah (the only other person in his class that day). He wrote her a note the other day, too. (He's into taking notes recently). Here's the note:

Awwwwwww!
And here he is mostly decked out to go skiing. For some reason he was quite attached to those long johns. He even wore them to bed (which of course meant we had to find Micah grey "long johns" to wear to bed, too)

Doesn't he look fashionable? Hmmmm...questionable.
