He's a Teenager

Josiah has been counting down for about a month (maybe more).

 I've been trying to wrap my mind around the whole thing.

 Here we are two days later and I still can't quite believe it. I have a TEENAGER??

How the heck did that happen??!?

 I know he's not a baby anymore. Not even a toddler. But a teenager?

 It's not that I want time to slow down. I've loved all the phases we've been though and I'm sure the future has as much fun in store for us. And it's not that I think he couldn't be 13--truth be told it's hard to remember life before he made me a mom.

 In all actuality, I don't really know why this birthday seems so BIG. But it does.

 So we made a big day out of it and celebrated this boy all the day long. And we had a blast!

Micah Man

So Micah did this thing last month.

He's been talking about doing it for awhile and I've been dragging my feet about it because it seemed so out of the blue.  But he is a persistent kiddo and after a few weeks, I'd set it up for him.

It was a big thing.

First Swim Meet 2016

A couple of weeks ago the kids had their first swim meet of the year--and Audra's first swim meet ever!  All were excited, but Audra was probably the most pumped up about it.  :)

The kids all swam well and Josiah swam the 100 IM for the first time and ROCKED IT!  He was so awesome! (even if he thought he wasn't going to live to swim freestyle...)  I sure do love seeing my kids get out there and push themselves to do their best.  It's an awesome thing!  Here are a few pictures from the evening for you ll to enjoy.
