And then life does what it always seems to do to me...it happened. Crazy how that works, isn't it? :)
Well, way back when I showed you this material, my grandma said she wanted to see the dress when I'd finished it. I'm happy to say that I can FINALLY show you the finished product!!
These pictures aren't the best but it's all I could get from a tired and pouty 3 year-old who had a scrape on her elbow that she HAD to hold a tissue on for the rest of the night because "it had a bleed." And I do mean the rest of the night. The girl went to bed and fell asleep (an hour and a half later) holding the tissue on her elbow. It was THAT serious.
Anywho...THE DRESS:

A great big THANK YOU goes to Tom and Carole for watching all 4 kids for us so that John and I could get some stuff done around the house...including making this dress. Also, THANK YOU to Bruce, for losing all that weight and getting so skinny that you gave us all of your old shirts...including the purple one that I used to make the top part of this dress. And THANK YOU to my mom who gave me the brown ribbon that was wrapped around the present she got from someone at Christmas. Doesn't it make a nice tie for this dress? :) My family is THE BEST!
