It only took 2 years, 7 months and 17 days. But it finally happened last night at dinner. The moment young parents think will never come, will never happen to them:
"MOMMY!!! He's looking at me!!!"
You've GOT to be kidding me!! These are suppose to be made up, hypothetical stories that parents tell their children to exaggerate what they were like as toddlers. This isn't really how kids think, is it? Well, let me tell you, YES IT IS!
